Wheat phytoceramides + DGDGCeramosides™
Skin-identical ceramides, taken orally.
Supplied by Seppic
Ceramosides™ is a patented oral skin-lipid ingredient from Seppic: wheat-derived glucosylceramides (phytoceramides) paired with digalactosyldiacylglycerides (DGDG) as a carrier. Ceramides are lipids that occur naturally in the skin’s outer layer.
The technology
The phytoceramides are combined with DGDG, a galactolipid carrier that improves how the orally-administered wheat glucosylceramides disperse and are taken up. The ingredient is wheat-derived — see the product page for allergen information.
