Vegan algal EPA + DHA

life’sOMEGA®

EPA and DHA from algae — no fish.

Brand / technology by dsm-firmenich

life’sOMEGA® supplies both EPA and DHA from microalgae. It is the ingredient that makes our omega-3 formula an option for people who want these two fatty acids without fish.

Why this matters

Both EPA and DHA from microalgae, in a fully vegan formula.

EPA and DHA without fish

An omega-3 option for a vegan routine. The daily two-capsule serving provides 600 mg DHA and 200 mg EPA from microalgae.

Both fatty acids, without fish

The oil provides EPA and DHA from one microalgal source. Together with the vegan capsule shell, it makes our algae-oil formula suitable for a vegan diet.

Why the amounts stay visible

Two capsules provide 600 mg DHA and 200 mg EPA. Listing them separately lets you compare the daily serving with fish-oil options and see that our formula is DHA-led.

A researched omega-3 source

Published research has compared blood levels of EPA and DHA from algal and fish oils. Our vegan omega-3 supplement contains life’sOMEGA® from microalgae for daily use.

The technology

The oil is produced by fermentation of microalgae in a controlled, land-based environment. It delivers EPA and DHA from one algal source in triglyceride form, without fish oil.
