KSM-66® Ashwagandha
The root-only, full-spectrum ashwagandha extract.
Brand / technology by Ixoreal Biomed
KSM-66® is the root-only ashwagandha extract in our daily capsules. It is standardised to 5% withanolides and has been used in published human studies.
Why this matters
Ashwagandha root extract with a clearly defined composition, studied in humans.
- Ashwagandha from the root
KSM-66® identifies the root extract used in our ashwagandha formula. The named ingredient makes its composition and research easier to follow.
- A precisely specified root extract
KSM-66® uses the ashwagandha root and a defined 5% withanolide concentration. The plant part, extract and concentration are stated clearly in our formula.
- Published human research
KSM-66® is identified in published human studies, including a 60-day placebo-controlled study in 64 adults. This research is one of the reasons we selected the named extract.
- 600 mg in your daily serving
Our two-capsule daily serving provides 600 mg KSM-66® extract, including 30 mg withanolides. It is a straightforward way to include this specified root extract in your routine.
The technology
KSM-66® is standardised to ≥5 % withanolides (measured by HPLC) and is produced with a proprietary “Green Chemistry” extraction — water-based, with no alcohol or chemical solvents. “Full-spectrum” means it aims to keep the natural balance of the root’s constituents rather than concentrating a single fraction.
A large clinical program
KSM-66® has been used in multiple randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trials. The sources below describe the participants, duration and measurements.
